5.11 Push Pack (which stands for Practical Utility Shoulder Hold) is a messenger type style bag made of rugged water resistant 1050D nylon. It features a large flap covered main compartment with two drainage holes at the bottom, and two side-expanding pockets (sized to hold one-liter water bottles). Inside the main compartment there are 3 built in pen pockets and a card slot, a mesh pocket and a nylon pocket opposite to it. On the front of the bag there is another pocket with Velcro closures. The bag's flap is closing with a single fastex buckle which has an elastic loop covering the female end. Above the buckle there is the 5.11 logo and a Velcro patch for name tags. At the front of the flap there is a useful zipped pocket. Another zipped pocket is placed on the top of the flap. A zippered pocket behind the main compartment has loop-sided Velcro to hold Back-Up-Belt System pouches or any other hook sided pouch.
An adjustable shoulder strap is attached to flaps (one with a Velcro patch, second with MOLLE loops, both with small open pockets) and goes with large fastex buckle, sliding adjuster buckle, and removable pad with anti-skid section and aero-foam padding. Aero-foam padding can be also finding on the reverse of the bag and that admittedly improves comfort of carry. What is more on the back of the bag there is also a Velcro fixture for attaching it to a narrow belt. There are also four MOLLE type loops at the bottom.
